Existing Employees - Incumbent Worker Program

Ohio businesses and industry located and operating in Seneca County that are in high demand as determined by current Labor Market Information,  may be eligible for funding for providing training for their current employees. Funding is available for qualified employers who are interested in significantly upgrading the skills of their current employees.

Additional training of current employees may help avoid lay-offs or closures of a business. And, the increased skills will also provide the employees more security in their career paths.

The employer would be expected to provide not less than 50% of the training costs.

How do I apply?

Complete the Incumbent Worker Application and submit the form to the Seneca One Stop. If eligible, a contract will need to be signed.

New applications for Incumbent Worker Training are reviewed on a regular basis.
