Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:15 - 4:30
We are Closed on the Following Holidays
- New Year’s Day (First day of January)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Third Monday of January)
- President’s Day (Third Monday in February)
- Memorial Day (Last Monday of May)
- Independence Day (Fourth day of July)
- Labor Day (First Monday of September)
- Columbus Day (Second Monday in October)
- Veteran’s Day (Eleventh day of November)
- Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday of November)
- Day after Thanksgiving (Fourth Friday of November)
- Christmas Eve (½ day) (Afternoon of the 24th of December)
- Christmas Day (25th day of December)
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed on Friday. Sunday holidays are observed on Monday.
Additional Days the Agency is Closed
Due to the cuts we have received from the state, employees at the Seneca County DJFS will be taking 10 unpaid (furlough) days this fiscal year, which runs through June 30, 2010. Five of those days, we will be closing the agency. These days are:
- Christmas Eve, December 24, 2009 (the agency will be closed all day)
- New Year's Eve, December 31, 2009
- Friday, March 12, 2010
- Good Friday, April 2, 2010
- April 5, 2010 (the agency will open at 12:30 p.m.)
- Friday, June 11, 2010
