Seneca County DJFS provides the following shelter assistance:

Disaster Services - effective 07/01/2009

When Federal, State or County government has declared a disaster emergency, or there are immediate emergency disaster-caused needs to resume normal daily activities, the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services may be able to help with funding through Disaster Services.

Rent, Mortgage Payments, & Emergency Shelter Payments - Effective 07/01/2009

Rent, Mortgage Payments, & Emergency Shelter Payments may be issued to assist at-risk individuals; needy families so that children may be cared for in their own home or in the home of a relative. 

Utility Payments - Effective 07/01/2009

When Seneca County families with minor children have a problem with their utilities that may affect the health and safety of the children, there may be Utility Payment assistance to help.
