What is Ohio Means Jobs?
It is both a place AND a website.
Our physical location is at Seneca County DJFS and our online employment resources may be found at OhioMeansJobs.com
The website allows you to easily search through thousands of job opportunities while also providing useful career exploration tools designed to help you decide which career options are best for you.
Use OhioMeansJobs.com to find employment opportunities within 30 miles of Tiffin. Or within 30 miles of Fostoria. You can even post your resume for free to let employers find you when they have openings.

Our resource room is available for anyone wanting to access a computer, internet, printer, or fax machine during their job search.
Staff are available to help search job listings, develop a resume, provide advice, etc. Employers also use our conference rooms for hiring events and sometimes conduct on-site interviews for new positions.
Several programs offer an array of supportive services for employed individuals and those seeking employment. Temporary assistance with needs such as Rent, Utilities, Car Repairs and Fuel Vouchers/Mileage Reimbursement are available. Job Retention bonuses (up to $1,500) are also available to low-income parents with minor children to help offset the typical low starting wages of most
new jobs. There is also assistance available to help you with Child Care expenses while you work or attend training.
All our supportive services are intended to help individuals either obtain employment or keep employment, and ultimately become self-sufficient.
Some job seekers need help preparing for the workforce. We offer several programs which may help identify barriers to employment through case planned services.
