Please know the health and safety of our community is our top priority. Currently, we are recommending that masks be worn when you are visiting Seneca County DJFS. If you do not have a mask when arriving one can be provided to you. We also would like to encourage you to call and make appointments if you need to visit in person with a caseworker or someone from within the Agency. This will better help us serve you while keeping those involved as safe as possible during the recent trends within the Pandemic. The Drop Box is continued to be serviced as well.
We will continue to accept applications through our online portals, as well as documents submitted to the department email boxes below. Please feel free to email attachments and/or photographs of documents, verifications, etc.
Payments for child support can also be mailed to Ohio CSPC, P.O. Box 182372, Columbus, OH 43218-2394. Please include name, SETS number, order number, social security number (optional), and amount applied to each case (if multiple); or by credit/debit card payment with no additional fee at: oh.smartchildsupport.com or by calling 1.888.965.2676 option 5.
If you are currently providing kinship care for a child and have recently been involved with child protective services in Seneca County you may be eligible for assistance during this emergency. Please contact Seneca County Job and Family Services and request Kinship Caregiver Program Services to see if you are eligible. Kinship care can be formal, (court ordered) or informal, (voluntary agreement). Kinship care is defined as 5101.85 Kinship caregiver defined.
