What is a Certified Child Care Provider?

You can become a certified child care provider with payments being provided to you by families, with those payments subsidized by the Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services.

Who is Eligible?

You can be eligible if you meet certain qualifications.  See  Child Care Provider General Criteria and Child Care Types and Qualifications.

How do I Apply to Become a Provider?

If you are interested in becoming a child care provider, call us at (419) 447-5011 and request to speak to the Child Care Provider staff person. That staff person can give you general information and do an initial screening. If you meet the general requirements, an application can be sent to you.
